CITUS IS PREPARING A NEW HOUSING PROJECT ON VILNIUS KAREIVIŲ GATVĖ: INVESTMENTS WILL REACH 17 MILLION EUROS

Real-estate management company CITUS is preparing another housing project. It is planned at the junction of Verkių and Žirmūnai micro-districts - at the address Kareivių st. 2E, in the neighborhood of the urban "Ogmios miestas" and “Ozas” park. Investments in the project will reach about 17 million euros.

Currently, the project is still in the initial stage, the first stage of publicity is underway and there is a lot of work to be done. A sports building has also been submitted for publication. This is because the previous owners planned a sports complex here and had approved such use in the detailed plan, but abandoned the project. Now there are many different sports destinations around, sports clubs, and the commercial success of such a facility would be questionable, and housing is in short supply.

The purpose of the sports building will be changed, another apartment building is being designed and procedures are being carried out to obtain a second building permit. Sales and communication of the project will be started only after the issues of design, purpose and building permits have been fully settled.
 
"This entire territory, which includes Kareivių, Kalvarijų, Verkių, Žvalgų streets, is experiencing unprecedented changes and transformation, and all developers who are willing to work here have questions about the uses provided for in the detailed plan. We hope that the long process of granting design and building permits and other formalities will go as smoothly as possible and that the pressure on the market will decrease at least a little due to the shrinking choice of housing", says Mantas Galdikas, head of CITUS.
 
It is planned that the project will have a total of about 170 apartments.
